Long-lasting pile of white foam in the tall Kolsch glass. A pleasant spree of aromas. Citrus and hints of mint. Some lime in the taste. Thoroughly interesting.
Quite moderate bitterness with a little woody aftertaste. I'm sorry this is the first one of this series I have run across. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Best Damn in San Diego.

A lightly chill-hazed amber is topped with a thick, off-white foam that settles like a root beer float in the center and also leaves a fuzzy collar.
The smell as it pours is surprisingly fruity of kiwi and lime. Getting in close, there is also woody pine, dank orange zest and candy.
Taste is also surprisingly fruity of kiwi and lime at first, but is also a little astringent. As I settle in with this bomber, flavors become more rooted in orange zest and rind, light pine, lemon candy and biscuit malt, leaning bitter, with a crisp, medium froth and a semi-dry to dry finish.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
