The Demagorgon is on the hunt in 'The Upside Down,' a Tart Wheat Ale featuring hundreds of pounds of blackberries finished with vanilla beans!
Kettle-soured for a terrifying acidity, this sinister combination of our classic Berliner Weisse style and tart seasonal fruit makes for a scene-stealing explosion of flavor. This beer was brewed in imaginative collaboration with Keymaster Games and is the fourth of several Campy Creatures we're bringing to life in themed can releases!

Purple color. Nice, pink head. Blackberries and vanilla in the aroma. Tart, fruity taste with vanilla notes. Refreshing and easy to drink. Not too sweet.

A 1 pint can, canned on 17th January 2024. Poured into a winebar glass.
Appearance: A deep red colour with a dark purple hue, and a just over one finger lavender head that had decent retention, eventually settling to a ring around the glass, while leaving some lacing.
Aroma: Sweet, tart, jammy, blackberries, and vanilla.
Taste: Sour, tart, light jammy sweetness, blackberries, with light vanilla notes.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate to soft carbonation.
Overall: Great aroma, nice flavours, refreshing and enjoyable to drink.

Poured at fridge temp. Pours a dark purple with little head. The nose is awesome. Vanilla, raspberries, blackberries.
The taste is quite different from the nose. Tart for sure. Still quite fruity, but the tart notes are dominant. Stone fruit peel, sour grapes, pear, and candy. Really nice overall.

Looks like grape juice, quickly dissipating head. Strong scents of blackberries and vanilla with standard Berliner Weiss character. Taste is tart and fruity, with a little sweet vanilla on the back end. Mild alcohol presence, dry finish, lighter to medium bodied. Very fruity and tasty.

Nucleated Tulip
Look: Clear and dark purple, like grape juice. Poured a 1 finger head which quickly dissipated into no head
Smell: Smells like sweet artificial black raspberry, with a hint of vanilla
Taste: Very tart upfront, leaders to some sweet black ras, with just a hint of vanilla.
Feel: Moderate mouthfeel, with a semi-crisp finish
Overall: Its good, with the black raspberry and vanilla present, with a moderate amount of tartness.

Really nice dark magenta color. Moderately tart with pronounced blackberry flavor and a full texture provided by lactose. Sort of a sour blackberry & cream.
