Collaboration with J. Wakefield Brewing
Brewed with our Floridian brother, J Wakefield Brewing, Robots in Disguise is the Omega Prime of NE Double IPAs and marks the third entry into our "Covalent Bond" canned collaboration series! This 8.4% beer features over 300 lbs of fresh guava for a juicy, tropical base note and was packed with Galaxy, Citra, and Hallertau Blanc hops for a bold, citrus-driven bitterness. Its full, pillowy body coats the palate with soft malt notes and ripe mango for a finish that's more than meets the eye!

Look is hazy and golden. Flavor is guava and bitter. Lots of lupulin and almost a purée feel. Good, not great. Glad to see JWake and BL team up on a beer

Hazy golden yellow pour with pinkish hues and frothy white foam. Thin bubbly lace.
Lots of tropical fruit, guava takes over and bitter hops linger. Liking the nose on this.
Again a subtle sweetness that cuts through a bitterness that is felt throughout. Getting guava and mango, but the flavors die off a little quick for me.
Body is effervescent and a tad thinner than expected. Still smooth and juicy, but looking for more body in this DIPA.
