Draught.
S: Subtle all around, necessitates a full draw. Malt is tame, hints of lightly toasted grain. Hops, crisp and sweet.
L: Very clear, straw yellow body. Sparkling. Half finger white head, tight carbonation, low retention.
T: Start with very crisp and clear malt with a slightly hoppy middle, but the flavour really falls off toward the end where a hint of diacetyl forces the taste to melt away prematurely.
F: Thin, if not watery. Carbonation is a little too sharp off the front end and is gone by the finish.
Overall: Very tame for a Kölsh. Minimal earthiness, crisp taste, perhaps overly simplistic, with little to no aftertaste. Not a beer to sip slowly, behaves more like a soda-pop.

Draft. Clear golden yellow body, one finger white head, decent retention. Smell is mineral, light toasted grain, a bit of biscuit, earth, and a slightly fruity and floral hop aroma. Flavour follows, a bit sweeter and not as dry as expected. Medium lighter body, good carbonation.
