Off the tap at Bottle Logic, poured into a BL taster. Dark chocolate fudge color. Nose is strong almond and some brandy; caramel is faint and vanilla non-existent. Palate follows suit -- lots of almond that trumps everything else, some apple brandy, but harsh on the palate; the flavors don't come together. An unfortunate miss on this one.

I don’t frequently write reviews and won’t now. But this beer is serious madness. Any human being that can create a beer like this should be lauded. It’s like drinking a booze forward cocktail. All apple brandy. Low viscosity stout, but so what? This is crazy. So much complexity.

Hard pass
Looks good, smells okay, but harsh alcohol destroys the palate. Not nice. Apple comes through a bit but overpowered by fussil harsh alcohol esters

this was good! thin(ner), apple-brandy-barrel vanilla stout, according to the description. vanilla beans, almonds and caramel. i disagree with the "viscous" adjective as mine seemed thinner than i expected.
