Pecan Pie-inspired sweet stout brewed with pecans and cacao nibs! This beer is a sweet stout, but it DOES NOT contain lactose!

Look - The pour appeared thick and was very dark with a two finger tan head.
Smell - All roast and cocao, very pleasant.
Taste - The big chocolate notes in the aroma did not translate as substantially to the taste. The nuttiness of the pecans were there, as well as some molasses.
Feel - A moderately thick mouthfeel. For how sweet it was I didn't find it cloying on the palate.
Overall - A good sweet stout that achieves a nice viscosity without employing lactose. I enjoyed the nuttiness, but would have liked just a touch more cocao.

this one is 13% for 2019 apparently? nuts, just like the Study Break... but thank gawd no lactose... i had the shitz for 3 weeks after that one and Leche Reserva on back-to-back days.... lots of chocolate. lots of a weird 'dirtiness' which turns into the nut flavor as it sits on the tongue.... very good! for novelty and lack of lactose i give it 4.75 in taste!

Growler fill - pours like wine, gorgeous tan head that fades quick. Delicious chocolate pecan pie.
