32oz crowler, filled on 12.28.18, poured into a shaker pint glass.
The beer pours a very hazy and cloudy orange color, honey and amber hues with a thick and foamy white head that has good retention and yields small splotches of soapy lacing. The aroma is excellent, huge bouquet of citrus and tropical fruits, lightly floral but really dank as it warms with nice grassy and raw green hops, bitter pine, soft pale dough and sweet yeast. The flavors are good, fairly juicy citrus, tangy tropical fruits with some floral flavors along with a nice earthy hop bite, not quite as pungent and dank as the nose, and finishes with a sweet burst of yeast, pale grain and mineral water. The mouthfeel is good, coating, crisp, thick medium body that is amply chewy and finishes easily with a creamy yet dry bite.
Verdict: A solid NEIPA from Bottle Logic. Juicy and flavorful and with a super expressive and wonderful nose. The flavors are a bit muddled and just a little less balanced than the nose. That said, a juicy and refreshing beer that satisfies the haze craving.
