On the lighter side for the style, but still in line, it reminds me of the SN collab beer a couple of years ago with a golden colored body supporting a dense, light tan head. Beautiful beer.
The nose is filled with bready malt notes, and a subtle caramel note, too, and grassy notes from the hops. I’m literally salivating.
The bready malts ar REALLY forward on the taste, and that subtle caramel flavor provides a sweetness that works perfectly with the grassy hop flavors, and provides a slightly creamy mouthfeel that yields a world-class Marzen, IMHO.

A picture perfect looking Festbier. Bright gold and crystal clear with a rocky white foam. Excellent retention and lacing.
Biscuits and grassy hops. Lovely aromas.
This might be the most authentic "German tasting" Festbier I've had born from a US brewer. Freshly baked biscuits with a drop of honey and a mild herbal and dried grass finish. Wonderful.
Great feel too. Sweet with a mild amount of balancing bitterness, silky smooth and soft, plush carbonation.
Damn. This is easily one of the top Festbiers I've had this year. Maybe even ever.
Huge thanks Derek!

Clear dark amber with persistent foam in the snifter. Light body but quite a malty flavor. Tastes like honey. Smooth grainy flavor with a moderate hoppy finish. Peasant aftertaste of pine. The lingering dark caramel makes for a tasty quaff. One of the better Oktoberfest brews I"ve tried this fall. On tap at Tiger Tiger, after their "OcTIGERfest" weekend.

A bright copper color with a small white head.
Caramel aroma, light hops.
Taste of caramel with some light grainy hops.
Light-bodied, very easy to drink.
I need a liter mug for this.
