Smoothie Style Sour Ale
POG Juice inspired smoothie style sour with pineapple, passionfruit, orange, and pink guava. Orange-pink color with tropical aromas of Hawaii. Pineapple hits the palate first, then bright orange citrus and luscious pink guava. The natural tartness of passion fruit brings a balancing bite of acidity to the sweet pineapple. Medium-bodied with a wave of smooth sweetness to ride all the way to shore.

Pouring semi-clear gold at first, but filling to a more opaque orangeish-peach, a short but dense off-white head quickly settles to a sparse film with a thin ring leaving a single line of heart monitor lacing on the glass.
On the nose, orange and passion fruit juices collide until the passion fruit wins in intensity, accented by a mildly rounding touch of guava.
Taste is a little toastier than expected, but right in the vein of passion fruit seed, while the mouthfeel is not quite as thick as it looks, consisting of a medium heft with a nearly crisp carbonation before finishing semi-wet.

Look: hazy golden with a thick white head
Aroma: pineapple, orange
Flavor: pineapple, passionfruit, orange and guava. Pineapple and the orange stand out the most. It is not tart, just fruity, more like sweet juice.
Body/Overall: medium to full body, not very tart, so I am not sure you can call it a sour.

Pours thick guava/carrot colored with loads of pulp and a modest head. Aroma is citrus, pineapple and notes of vanilla. Taste is pineapple and orange forward, with guava at the end. This is most definitely a sour, and more sour than smoothie.
