After a year in bourbon barrels, we punched this lactose stout base through a constellation of almost 200lbs of Jet-Puffed marshmallows, sent it careening through clusters of chopped walnuts and sliced almonds, and finally pulled it through an incredible batch of Guatemalan cacao nibs as a fitting tribute to the "rocky road" of our favorite smuggler's legendary Kessel Run.

Pours jet black. Aroma is mix of marshmallow, milk chocolate, vanilla & nuttiness. Taste is complex sweetness and well balanced combo of the marshmallow, milk chocolate, bourbon, vanilla & nuts. Full mouthfeel. Great stout.

Poured at fridge temp. Pours a very thick black with a tiny layer of brown head. The nose is dominated by Nutella, which is amazing. Almonds, vanilla, and chocolate. The Nutella note absolutely dominates though.

The taste follows the nose. Thick and creamy Nutella with vanilla, almonds, slight bourbon, and lactose.

The mouthfeel is super thick and creamy, with marshmallow and chocolate on the aftertaste. Lovely beer overall.

Appearance: Pours midnight black colored with a thin tan head; leggy with limited lacing

Smell: Milk chocolate, marshmallow, nuts and nougat buttressed by the Bourbon

Taste: Milk chocolate forward with the marshmallow and nut tones building; the Bourbon brings vanilla and caramel sweetness; dessert-like finish

Mouthfeel: Medium to full bodied with low carbonation

Overall: A nice dessert stout

poured from a 500mL bottle into a stemless wine glass. pours dark brown but gathers in the glass shiny black with hardly any foam. huge chocolate on the nose. a bit of vanilla and nuttiness but the chocolate dominates. taste has big chocolate but the bourbon barrels, almonds, walnuts and marshmallow is much more well integrated. really rich and decadent. a very dessert-style imperial stout. full, thick mouthfeel. chewy. this was good.
