Cool Your Jets is a barrel-aged reminder that the all-gas, no-brakes lifestyle isn't our only option. Here we’ve tempered our finished Continuous Ignition base with a direct injection of fresh coconut to create a soft, silky sipper — something to slow down with and chew through.
This base combination of double and single mash rye imperial stout recipes were aged in a blend of choice bourbon barrels for a robust complexity.
Mostra-roasted Vietnam Lotus and Guatemala Santa Rosa coffee beans lend decadent flavors of dark chocolate, butterscotch and honey-roasted almonds to the swirls of sweet caramel that finished the "Continuous Ignition" release.
The coconut addition serves as a cooling agent for the base beer’s caramel sweetness, further elevating the remarkable coffee selection and imbuing the liquid with a rich waffle cone-roundness.

Pours a deep black color, jet black if you will. A decent brown colored head that leaves a little lacing. Sweet coffee and coconut aromas, some chocolate aromas, and maybe a hint of deep roasted malts at the end of it. The taste is sweet, brown sugar, coconut, chocolate, coffee dominate the flavors. Feels rich, thick, not as heavy as it is. I think this would be a good one to age if you haven't opened it, maybe a year or two would really help it. Overall, pretty tasty, another bomb from Bottle Logic!

Bottle Logic barrel aged stouts.
Dear god.
I think I figured out the formula.
Make a beautifully dark roasted stout.
Age it in bourbon barrels til the barrel imparts more flavor.
Then adjunct the bastard til it drowns in additional flavors.
Bottle and serve.
I hope I don’t make the formula seem simple or stupid.
I fucking love these beers, except they’re a bit too thick and syrupy when fresh.
Maybe I should stop reviewing them when I’m drunk.

Shimmering black body with a light brown cap. Super sweet chocolate malt with rye, bourbon, coffee, caramel, almond, vanilla and coconut in the nose. Taste is a starbucks frappuccino in a stout: sweet, thick, vanilla and caramel forward, oh and there is coffee. The nose has a refined richness where the taste is more saccharine. Feel is thick and smooth but is cool and sugary finishing. Not BL's best work but a pasty forward coffee stout that hits the dessert notes well
