Clear amber brew with modest foam in the Chimay chalice. Bold aroma of orange and pineapple. Thickish and malty on the tongue with adequate carbonation. Starts out quite sweet and totally fruity. Tastes of orange and canned peaches. This is quite sharp in the finish, but never descends to the acidic hazy sensation. Loads of flavor, and if you like a sprinkling of sugar on your fruit, this is the jam. Really quite tasty and makes for a good higher-alcohol sipper. From the 16 oz can purchased at Baron Market. Dated 07/15/24 so it would be even better fresh.

Pours a clear golden orange with a finger and a half of foamy head that slowly dissipates to a thin ring with some lacing. Aroma of orange and pine. Taste follows nose. Very nice.

highly recommend this double. it’s easy going and still a strong, proper double IPA. not too bitter, not overwhelmingly piney and also it doesn’t really have any aftertaste or lingering odor. taste is refined but a little metallic. look and feel are pretty decent.
