Bourbon barrel-aged English-style barleywine
Deep raisin brown with an off-white foam that lingers on the edge of the glass. Bold aromas of tobacco, leather and charred oak shift to the palate with a sweet opening that develops into a deeply savory mid-palate experience and closes with a pleasant alcohol sting.

Opaque brown body, tan cap that fades. Smell star is gooey caramel, with bourbon, big molasses, and oak in a vanilllin laden way, light barley. Taste has more barley and dried dark fruit but less molasses and vanilla, but otherwise the same. Feel is smooth, warm and artfully boozy, refined though leans malty over barley snarl. This was one of the better barleywines I have had in a while. The wife liked it
