Bourbon barrel-aged coffee and macadamia nut imperial stout collaboration with Magnanimous Brewing.
An aromatic prologue of house-roasted macadamia nuts and Bodhi Leaf's Kona coffee lays the groundwork for the palate's perilous 13.5% ABV journey through a dark fusion of bold oak, rich Madagascar vanilla beans, creamy macadamia texture and the nutty, milk chocolate flavors of the Kona Coffee belt's famed beans. This beer contains lactose.

Poured at fridge temp. Pours an insanely thick black with dark brown head. The nose is full of chocolate, burnt toffee, vanilla, milkshake, marshmallow, nuts, and molasses. I can't say that the bourbon is overly noticeable on the nose. Definitely smells sweet.
The taste is fantastic. I have definitely had a couple of Bottle Logic stouts that taste pretty much the same as this one. Chocolate, vanilla, coconut, caramel, bourbon, lactose, brownies, and definitely a nice layer of nuts. Some molasses is there as well. It's sweet, but I don't find it too sweet. Really nice beer.
The mouthfeel is incredible. Very thick and viscous. The aftertaste is chocolate milkshake and vanilla.

Shimmering brownish black pour, dark brown collar. Smell leads with dark roast coffee, macadamia, vanilla and mild bourbon. Taste has the macadamia nuts star front and center, with its buddy vanilla supporting, together they pop in and our against the coffee, with background notes of dark chocolate, malt and very mild barrel. Feel is heavy, chewy and thick but not syrupy, if anything roasty and nutty. Really showed off some different elements here!

poured from a 500mL bottle into a TG DBA tumbler. pours a fairly thick black with a finger of dark brown foam head. bourbon, oak, nutty coffee and chocolate on the nose. taste follows. macadamia nuts, chocolate and bourbon all in harmony. very balanced. thick, chewy mouthfeel with just enough carbonation in the finish to keep this drinkable (well as drinkable as a 14% stout gets). this was great. the coffee and macadamia work so well together that it’s almost one additive and the vanilla beans give off more milk chocolate, or perhaps that’s the base stout giving off those flavors. either way, highly enjoyed this one!
