We're exploring a new side of breakfast stouts as we layer our lactose stout base with softly sweet Tahitian vanilla, recirculate it through vanilla granola, and finish off this morning masterpiece with a vibrant combination of blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries!

On tap at Ale Tales. Very smooth. Thick goodness chocolate liquor. Berries give it balance. Could not detect 12.5 pct. $10 usd 5oz totally worthwhile. Good sweetness, with vanilla taking place of lactose.

Poured from a bottle at fridge temp. Pours a thick and viscous black with almost zero head. The nose is as expected. Full of berries. Strawberry comes across the strongest for me. Some vanilla ice cream and a bit of milk chocolate. Not much barrel and not much else that would signal an imperial stout.
The taste is actually quite good. Definitely tastes like the Neapolitan ice cream that I had growing up. Chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. Relatively one dimensional but good at what it is. Mouthfeel is pretty thick and creamy.

Pitch black with brown tinting and ring. The smell really does capture granola and dried berries with woody vanilla. Taste is actually way better: berries are fresh meeting, bourbon backed, granola and vanilla. I wouldn’t say it taste like a parfait, but it’s pleasant. Feel as the usual bottle logic stout does: very smooth, larger, bodied, and thick, but not as warm as usual

On tap at Bottle Logic.
Pours black, with red/brown on the edges. Minimal head that dissipates almost immediately.
Aroma is oak, vanilla, berries and nuts.
Vanilla, berries and syrup on the taste.
Sticks to your tongue.
Look, I understand that folks apparently constantly court diabetes these days, but grandpa says it's too sweet.
