Poured at cellar temp. Pours a very thick black with a solid inch of dark brown head. Very nice looking beer. The nose is absolutely fantastic. Chocolate, rye, black licorice, tobacco, molasses, and dark roasted malts.
The taste follows the nose. Molasses is super strong on this one. Tons of rye barrel, dark chocolate, coffee grounds, brown sugar, black licorice, and some burnt toffee. Great stout for sure.
The mouthfeel is medium to thick, with a nice molasses and rye aftertaste.
