Poured at fridge temp. Pours a very thick black with minimal head. The nose is fantastic. Rye, dark chocolate, roasted malts, vanilla, molasses, and some dark fruit.
The taste is very good. Loads of barrel coming through. Rye all the way. Black licorice, molasses, burnt toffee, roasted malts, very dark chocolate, and dark bread. Dark roasted coffee grounds. Definitely more on the bitter side, which is great.
Mouthfeel is thick. The aftertaste is dark roasted malts and some dark fruit. Great stout overall.
