Rich aromas of cheesecake, ripe summer berries, and karts of peaches careen onto the palate in #PeachBeach, our Smoothie Style Sour Ale layered with vanilla granola, 514lbs of stone fruit, and 20 gallons of blackberries. Peach Beach was finished with cheesecake for a podium-topping sweet/savory balance.

Canned 1/11/24. “Do you even peach bro?” stamped on the bottom of the can

I didn’t even know Bottle Logic brewed Smoothie Sours, I only really know them for bigger beers and a few classic styles. They really went for it with this one, fruit, cheesecake, and all. Let’s crack it open and find out what it’s all about

Pours an opaque brownish orange with 2 fingers of frothy light beige head ghat slowly fades to a thin cap and leaves deep lacing

It’s pretty sweet in the nose but there’s a lactic bite that keeps things in check. I’m picking up on aromas of jammy peach, lemon juice, brown sugar, graham cracker, sweet honey, cheesecake, light raspberry, and vanilla

Unfortunately the sweetness is dialed way up in taste, really just a sweet mess. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting jammy peach, brown sugar, graham cracker, toasted walnut, vanilla ice cream, cheesecake, and light blackberry. The swallow brings notes of brown sugar, jammy blackberry, cinnamon, grilled peach, vanilla ice cream, cheesecake, and sweet honey

A medium full body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a slick beer. Finishes a tad sticky and sweet

I can’t say I hate this necessarily, but it’s just so damn sweet that it’s a chore to get through. Oh well
