As another Bottle Logic barrel aged creation, this one knocks it out of the park. Smoky and sweet characteristics from the nature of the brews, the barrels, and the adjuncts, and the kids own the playground of your taste buds. Just let it go and enjoy.

22 ounce bottle into a snifter. A 2024 release, had 8/31/24.

Pours a fairly clear copper color, with a one inch foamy head and light foamy lacing. Aromas of caramel, cedar, bourbon, vanilla, tobacco, oak. The flavor is about the same as the aroma: vanilla, bourbon, caramel, cedar, malt, tobacco, oak. Smooth, a very good medium body, appropriately carbonated.

Certainly interesting. Distinct aromas and flavors, although the cedar fades in and out while working through the bottle. It does kind of have the cigar thing going on. Very enjoyable.

Pours rich brown. Aroma sweet & malty - wonderful balance of lots of caramel and vanilla mixed with malts, wood, cedar & smokiness. Taste follows nose, with incredible sweetness of the vanilla and caramel; dark fruitiness; the malts, wood & smoke. Mouthfeel is medium & traditional for a barleywine. Overall, a very well done, distinctive barleywine.

Opaque brown with a frothy oatmeal colored sustained head. Smell is led by munich malts with big caramel, vanilla, molasses with slight barley, barrel wood, smoke, cedar, slight licorice, and a whisper of wet earth. Taste has the cedar and barrel softly at first with the vanilla, caramel, malts, dark cherry, and tobacco, then the woods start to take over with char, dry earth and barley coming with them. Feel is malty, with big cedar and decent barrel, with vanilla cooling and residual sugars. Unique, complex, and memorable

Sweet caramel and toffee malty, a hint of dark fruits, floral vanilla, a hint of cigar smokiness, and a bourbon barrel nose on this one! Taste follows very closely with a medium-bodied, vanilla/leather/oak/smoke finish. I appreciate Bottle Logic thinking outside the box with this one! This is different but tasty!
