Bourbon Barrel Aged Chocolate Espresso Stout • 14% ABV • This beer debuted at Week of Logic 2024 under the alias "Cabinet Noir."
As correspondents realized their mail was intercepted and relayed to the government in France’s ‘black rooms,’ they devised systems to encrypt & decrypt messages, laying the foundations for
modern code-breaking.
This bourbon barrel-aged stout whorls flavors of Mostra-roasted "Ghost Bear" espresso and Filipino cacao nibs with whispers of spirit and oak, capturing the intrigue of covert communication in a dark, rich brew.

L: Thick inky espresso color almost like liquid chocolate.
S: Yes, you can tell there is a lot of alcohol mixed in with the chocolate nose.
T: A little bit of alcohol burn but that should be expected on a 14% ABV.
F: More viscous the I expected too. Nice mouth feel
O: It is a good over the top stout. Maybe they overdid the cacao but I definitely liked it. What's not to like about chocolate.
