Received from a coworker . Pours a dark orange-ish brown with a moderate creamy head. Not much of an aroma. Stone fruits upfront with some orange creamsicle. Lush mouthfeel with delicate carbonation. Overall, solid.

a: hazy burnt yellow and orange color with a thin tan head

t: mango, orange juice, and guava. light melon, peach, and sweet pineapples. a hint of chalk and papaya. finish is mango and mild orange zest

Poured from the can at fridge temp, this hazy IPA lands with an opaque straw yellow body and a fluffy white head that lingers like good conversation. The aroma bursts with mango, pineapple, grapefruit peel, citrus rind, and resinous pine, rounded by juicy fruit and dank herbal notes.

On the palate, it’s smooth and layered. Tropical fruit—mango and pineapple—leads the charge, balanced by citrus bitterness, pine needles, and a satisfying dankness. A faint bready malt and subtle earthy touch add just enough depth.

Mouthfeel is light and dry, with a clean bitterness that lingers. As it warms, the profile shifts—less sweet, more pine-forward—showcasing how Citra, Nectaron, Amarillo, and Simcoe evolve into a resinous, hop-saturated crescendo. No hop burn, no fuss—just a hazy that delivers nuance and punch.

cool beer, never think of these guys for ipa types, its the barrel stuff that comes to mind, but it was cool to receive a few cans of clean pint style beer from them recently, and this is fresh and distinctive, if robust enough to be something i dont really feel like drinking all night, right on that line of being a double, alcohol be damned, this is hopped to high heaven, its big and lasting, resinous and faintly green, but its also really unique and good, and it was a fun one to slowly sip at holiday time, fireplace on, puzzle going, good vibes. orange juice looking color and thickness, frothy white head with great retention, enough carbonation that it doesnt sag, even though its heavy overall, a real sturdy build on this one, all pale grains, but lots of them, protein and husky heft. the hops are strong in here, the nose is almost chemical, its thiol forward and modern, bitter enough too i suppose, but thats not really the thing to notice here. layers of ripe apricot, coconut, green pinecone, new world gin, mandarin oranges from the can, and sticky weed resin, lightly soapy but from the hops not from the ferment, that biotransformed profile, lemongrass, pineapple candy, heaps of cereals at the center. the flavor is pretty similar, a little less sexy than the nose, but the nectaron does its thing, this hop is here to stay for sure, peachy and summery even though this isnt really delicate at all, this hits like a july afternoon anyway, transporting me away from the depths of winter. they leave some sugar in this, and i think that works well with the citra part of this, extending it, amarillo bringing some herbal and even spicy notes as it warms, simcoe pulling bubble hash to me, woodsy, needed familiarity in an otherwise modern fruit cocktail. really a lot going on, seems almost phenolic like it was fermented real warm, but again its the hops, bitterness kicks up as it sits, slightly yeasty but not in a bad way. really full bodied, stick to the ribs level even with good carbonation, freshness is working in its favor, this is real bold overall. maybe not my favorite hop complexion, but it certainly has its own thing going on. fun stuff.

Canned 6/26/24. Drank 9/5/24
Pour is an opaque, straw yellow. fluffy white head with a lasting cap of foam and great retention.
Nose is resin, pine, dank, citrus rind, grapefruit, a bit of juicy fruit. No astringent hop burn; nice bitterness, still a touch sweet.
Taste is juicy fruit, citrus, pine, a bit dank

Poured from a can at fridge temp. Pours a hazy yellow with a light layer of white head. The nose is mango, pineapple, banana, grapefruit peel, and a bit of pine.

The taste is really smooth. The tropical fruit (mango, pineapple) is met with a nice balance of pine needles and citrus peel. Slight bready note, along with a touch of leather and an earthy note.

The mouthfeel is a bit light and dry. Bitter on the aftertaste. Overall, a really nice hazy.
