This pours a dark cola-coffee brown. Total clove bomb. I get an overpowering aroma of cloves, to the exclusion of everything else. Sip it and more cloves. There’s a dry finish with some Belgian-estery floral notes that shows some potential and other dimensions but first the cloves need to be dialed back. (And that’s coming from someone who doubles up on cloves in his own “holiday spice blends”.)
