Nice. High ABV not evident in this smooth but bitter beer. Dark brown/ruby body with small soapy head. Soapy/pine /citrusy hops, dry chalky finish. Lovely stuff

"Is it an 3x IPA or a hoppy spring barleywine? You tell us. 12% ABV with 131 IBU's"
Clear orange... Nice white head... Whew... Bitter for sure.. Surprisingly drinkable given the ABV... The hop flavors take a back seat to the big bitterness at first and ultimately come through as an abrasive pithy/piney hoppiness.. A bit of yeasty fruitiness lingers with the sugars leftover from the 12% .. Interesting... Not bad.
I would be utterly amazed if this was really 12%... but if so, and even if "exaggerated", this is a pretty righteous brew. Reminds me a lot of Sierra Nevada Big Foot without any of the toasty/caramel maltiness.
Served cold, this one is pretty darn drinkable... Well done.
