Not much separating this from a lager. Very pale golden, small but clingy white head. Faint grainy aroma, taste is again mostly grain, slightly dry finish. Not what I was expecting for a malt liquor.

On tap at the brewpub this afternoon... Pours a clear golden with an okay white head... Thick and sweet as expected... no discernible hop flavor, aroma, or bitterness... Thick malt extract water. No real problems other than why would anybody brew this? I am sure the brewers achieved what they set out to do.
