Growler from Albertsons. The bourbon barrels work well with this oud bruin, pushing it over into dubbel territory. Nothing exciting in the pour, but the barrel aging is immediately evident in the aroma. Taste also is wonderfully rich, again the barrels temper the sour nature of the beer, bringing out some sweetness, dark pit fruit. Wonderful on the nose and tongue, even if the body feels a bit thin.
