Can at taproom. Hazy orange golden body, small lasting foamy head. Fruity, citrusy aroma, then taste brings in some bitterness, sweet then bitter. Pretty well balanced, traditional NW IPA.

12oz canned in September, poured into a nonic; darker murky orange pour with good carbonation and a large off-white head. Lots of fruity hop notes and impressions of sweetness, could be bolstered by the malt backbone; tropical, orange, caramel, pineapple; present bitterness, but this leans into the fruity/floral hops and I dig that. Easy drinking medium body is smooth. One of the better Edge hoppy beers I've tried.

as a newcomer to boise, i am still seeking out and discovering the good hoppy beer around town, and i liked this one quite a bit. a clear and very yellow looking ipa here, and super lively from the tap, a fresh and jovial glass of beer that smells as fresh as can be, and despite a little overhopped greenness to it, i think it smells quite appealing, with a nonexistent fermentation profile, a really light simple pale malt grain base, and a really fruity dry hopping that makes it seem summery, modern, and real drinkable without much bitterness apparent. it does have some slight vegetal character to it, but its not overdosed or heavy, if it was dense and hazy it might seem that way, but this stays light, even delicate for its strength, and even with a ton of hops on the back half, its not too much. its almost crisp with the light grain and finishing dryness. subtle canned pineapple and juniper to the hop profile, rather familiar but not boring or minimalist to me at all, clean at the end for not being real snappy bitter, and the high carbonation keeps it moving right along. i liked this when i had it, and now having had a number of their other beers and visiting their brewery, i think this might be among the best beers they make, at least it is out of the ones i have had so far. solid through and through.
edit: solid from the can too, maybe a little more body than i remember from the draft, but this is a very well made ipa, love the hop profile, and think the proportions are excellent. definitely among their best!
