Affectionately Nicknamed “Raptarrgh” at Rabbit Hole, our first Barrel-Aged Rapture offering marries the one-of-a-kind flavors from aged RUM barrels with the smooth chocolate and toasty notes of the Rapture Fusion Brown Ale. The rum barrels impart a sweet, slightly spicy and vanilla nose and flavor to the beer. The first-generation (for beer use) offering was aged 6 months within the wet rum barrels which yielded a strong and “intoxicatingly” Rapturous boozy aroma upon first smell. A blended second generation is currently aging.
