pours black as tar although the feel is not too thick or overwhelming. incredibly boozy on the nose and tastes of bourbon. no head at all but it’s still serious, albeit from the strength, complexity, uniqueness and maturity of the barrel aging and not from the body, balance and depth of a traditional stout. for hardcore stout and barrel aged fans only.
