On tap at Alibi Room, Vancouver.
Cherry with trails of foam. 3.75
Maraschino and port nose. 3.75
Raspberry jam and cough syrup, tobacco, and red licorice. 3.5
Papery end and clean linger.
Almost full, chewy, hot. 4

Super sweet, cloys quite a bit. No hops either, so I’m not seeing where this is a barleywine. Sips like a port - that'd be the Cab Franc barrel ageing - and almost plays like an old ale. Not what I want from the style, in other words. 3.5
