After six months in Bardstown’s Heaven Hill Distillery bourbon barrels, our Choqlette Porter has transformed into a whole new beer. Vanilla and oak notes marry wonderfully with the Choqlette’s roasty, dark chocolate undertones and the time spent on wood has imparted a well-rounded silkiness to its mouthfeel.

Bomber Brewing 'Bourbon BA Choqlette Porter' @ 6.0% , served from a 650 ml bottle purchased for $7
A-pour is a cola brown from the bottle to a near black in the glass with a small thin tan head leaving a spotty lace along the pint
S-hints of bourbon
T-lots of bourbon to start , bitter swallow
MF-ok carbonation , medium body
Ov-bit better than the regular version

If you're a long-time fan of chocolate porters but have yet to fully experience the magic of bourbon barrel aging—more specifically, how it can transform a already savoury brew into something deliciously sophisticated—don't hesitate: drink this.
