Had on tap at a bar in Haarlem. The bartender had some issues with the keg as this beer was his recommendation, but after his hard work he gave me a nice pour on the house.
Oh yes the beer. The color was a thick caramel. A plethora of flavors in the front including some smoked bacon. I couldn't quite find the white beans the bartender promised but that's the fault of my unpolished palate. Nice malty finish hits you while you are still trying to detect the flavors. This beer feels a little higher than 5.4 ABV but it wasn't because it tasted boozy, but more due to the full bodied mouthfeel you get which I found to pleasurable.
