Copenhagen 6/6 2020. 33 cl can from Kvickly, Allerød. A little, educational comic strip made in the vein of Superman with a Bird of Prey in the role of superhero. Gaudy and colorful.
Pours unclear - almost hazy - golden yellow with s medium-sized white head. Settles a 0,3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty, fruity sweetness with dry, citric notes. Sweet pale malts, mango and peach. sharp, acerbic grape fruit and citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is citric and bitter with a light sweet undercurrent. Finish is dry.
Nice and easy to drink. Would have expected sharper talons and even more bitterness of beer named Birds of Prey.

Can. Misty gold with a white, frothy head.
Citrus aroma similar to lemon drops. Hints of tropical fruits.
Tastes of bitter lemonade.
Feels fizzy. Light body.
Not much difference to many others yet quite drinkable.

From draft at the stayokay hostel at Vondelpark in Amsterdam. Honestly a pretty solid IPA. Strong hop presence throughout. Tropical fruit in the nose, flavor, and finish. Dry and bitter yet drinkable. It’s all there. Well done!

Just a slight haze on the yellow brew with plenty of foam in the Stella Artois goblet. Moderately sweet and quite fruity flavors of pineapple, citrus peel, and a woody note. Pleasant bitter aftertaste. Overall, a decent and modest hoppy brew that is quite drinkable. From the 330 ml can purchased at the Uiltje beer store in Haarlem.

just spilled this on my lap -_-, anyway, what i didn’t spill is reasonably nice, tangerine driven ipa, lots of citrus fruit flavour, some sweet caramel, brown bread and biscuity malt, a certain floral character to it, light to medium bitterness on the finish, medium in body and medium carbonation, pretty crushable, nothing special but it’s a decent little ipa

330 ml can, from World of Delights Delicatessen, Schiphol airport. ABV is 5.8%. Golden colour, only slightly hazy. Small white head. Aroma of orange marmalade and pine. Citric (grapefruity) and piney flavour, moderate but distinct bitterness. Not too sweet.

Got this from the Dirk down the road.
From a 33cl can into a snifter
Canned 18 February 2020
APPEARANCE: Pours a 1+ finger, medium looking, creamy white head with great retention. Clear amber orange with lots of carbonation. Head slowly recedes to a full cap and leaves lots of lacing on the glass.
SMELL: Honeydew melon, some piney notes, caramel malts, hints of toffee and some light pineapple on the nose.
TASTE: Melon flavors, with light citrus, caramel and toffee up front. Some more caramel sweetness and melon flavors at the swallow, moving into a bolder and lingering finish of melon, honey, pineapple notes, some caramel and toffee sweetness, as well as some piney bitterness on the palate. Flavorful.
PALATE: Medium body and medium carbonation. Creamy smooth on the palate, goes down smooth and finishes a touch dry on the palate, Some bitterness lingers.
OVERALL: Solid. This is a worthy brew, as mostly all Uiltje beers are, but not quite as special as some of their other beers have been. This was also a little lack luster after their excellent Track Down, so maybe that spoiled me a bit. I’d never turn it down but in the showdown of Dirk cans, I’d reach for Track Down 9 times of out 10. Cheers!
