A - Pours a pale lemon cloudy colour with a foamy White head that reduces gradually
S - Lemon sherbet
T - Much like the aroma but yet with balanced hop, with a massive champagne finish reminds me of a top quality Belgian IPA
M – Light body and medium carbonation which is pretty much perfect
O- This is a very fine beer indeed if you like a Houblon Chouffe then this is for you.

Got this from the Duvel guy in Utrecht
From a 44cl can into a pint glass
Canned 14 July 2020
Brut IIPA
APPEARANCE: Pours a one finger, medium looking, creamy, frothy white head with great retention. Perfectly clear straw yellow with no real carbonation evident. Head slowly recedes to a full wisp cap. Splotchy wisp remains leaving touches of lacing down the glass as it empties.
SMELL: Caramel malts, melon and honeydew aromas, lemon citrus, a hint of grapefruit, some green grapes and a touch of spiciness on the nose. Bolder, with a faint hint of hay in there too.
TASTE: Caramel malt sweetness, some honeydew melon flavors, a touch of hay and barn character, lemon citrus notes and green grapes at the swallow. Bitter-sweet finish of caramel, honeydew, citrus flavors, some piney bitterness and a slight touch of spicy alcohol linger on the palate.
PALATE: Medium body and medium carbonation. Creamy enough on the palate, goes down fine and finishes somewhat mouth-coating. A bit of heat and some bitterness lingers.
OVERALL: Good stuff. I’ve never quite been sure if the Brut IPA is anything all that special, but this one comes across as more unique than what I’ve had from these guys before. Some green grape and melon character with a touch of hay and barn stuff as well. Enjoyable for sure. Cheers!
