My 100th beer review!

Received as part of my International Beer Collector Subscription in November 2021. Drunk in August 2022. This is the second beer on this particular day that I shared with a friend while watching the footy (see Mikkeller Nelson Sauvignon Brut for the other review), and so these notes were subtly taken on my phone while attempting to interact with another human being and watch the footy at the same time. So not my deepest review ever...

I managed an Untappd review as that was socially acceptable, and here is my commentary verbatim:

"The beer is full of sweet chocolate and sticky marshmallow. Hides its alcohol criminally well."

The notes on my phone say: "at first plastic marshmallow then changing to vanilla marshmallow. Chocolate. Cocoa powder. Hides alcohol extremely well. Sticky. Sweet. Jet black. Tan head. All 4s"

As per my Mikkeller review, sometimes you want to beer nerd but the universe won't let you.

Cheers!

A - Pours a deep dark oily Black colour with a thick Beige head that retains well. No light visible through the pour
S - Big big aromas of vanilla and small spice and cake.
T - Yes people ! Very big pronounced flavours of Marsh mellow and vanilla, but yet subtle balance of spice and chocolate. The finish is perfect with a little boozy heat.
M - Thick, full body and low carbonation
O - Monster beer, and one of the best beers I have drank in this style. The smoothness and balance is a sign of a very well crafted beer.
