Got this one from the Duvel guy in Utrecht. Cheers!
From a 44cl can into a snifter
Canned 13 July 2021
6.2% ABV
NEIPA
APPEARANCE: Pours a 1+ finger, medium looking, foamy, semi-creamy white head with great retention. Hazy amber orange with lower levels of carbonation evident. Head slowly recedes to a half wisp and ring, leaving some traces of lacing down the glass.
SMELL: Bold nose with lots of passion fruit, mango, apricot, with notes of caramel and bubble gum as well. Good stuff and plenty tropical.
TASTE: Follows the nose perfectly. Lots of tropical fruit flavor up front, with a bunch of passion fruit, apricot and melon up front. Bold and fruity finish of passion fruit, mango, apricot, some pineapple, honeydew melon and a touch of bubble gum lingers and lingers on the palate. Plenty fruity and flavorful for sure.
PALATE: Medium body and medium carbonation. Creamy enough on the palate, goes down fine and finishes slightly mouth-coating. No bitterness lingers.
OVERALL: Really good stuff. Plenty of tropical fruit flavors with virtually no bitterness at all. A delicious fruit juice that is still all things beer. Love this style of beer and this is a great example of it. Give it a shot if you’re a fan of the brewery and the style. Cheers!
