NWIIPA. Mirror mirror on the wall, who's got the dumbest duckface of all? Why you do, my dears, and we want you to show it. Crack open this can and let the world know it! Future generations are going to ridicule our digital pouts anyways and laugh at our ridiculous duckfaces faces. The only one answer to your future grandchildren is to duckface and drink. Might as well pucker up and own it!

Served in an oversized wine glass from the can here at cervecería Esparte in Conil Spain.

Appearance: copper tinted gold body with a full haze to the brew.

Smell: floral and grapefruity aroma.

Taste: Complex brew from the beginning. Floral and bitter with hints of grapefruit juice.

Mouth: Soft carbonation with a full body finish.

Overall: Great beer and perfect to pair with any steak or meat. Always in a glass salud!

Pours a hazy, orange coloration with a small, fluffy head. Smells of biscuity, slightly caramelly malt and tropical/citrus/berry hops, with notes of papaya, tangerine and strawberry, with hints of herbal, earthy accents as well. Taste is a great balance of biscuity, slightly caramelly malt and fruity, herbal, slighty earthy and spicy hops, with tropical, citrus and berry notes of papaya, tangerine and strawberry, as well as hints of sage and black pepper. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some papaya, strawberry and sage lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.

They call this a NWIIPA and I have no idea what that's supposed to mean. They were probably going after that NE/WC IPA mix that I personally love, while this feels a little bit neither here nor there though. It's hazy and fruity, with a soft'ish mouthfeel, but kinda lacks that true juiciness and pillowy mouthfeel, Still this brings a rather interesting flavor profile to the table, with a good balance of fruity and herbal, earthy notes, as well as a good bitterness. To be honest, it's been a while since something by Uiltje has truly wowed me, but I still dig them and this makes for a solid, enjoyable IPA with a somewhat unusual, rather interesting flavor profile.

Pours a semi clear dark yellow with soapy head.

Smell is floral and fruity with notes of citrus, peach, tea, pine and grass, with a slight perfumey hint.

Taste is floral and fruity with a bit of sweetness. Notes of citrus, tea, pine and peach, with a soft bitterness.

Mouthfeel is medium, sticky and well carbonated.

Overall, a very nice DIPA, less New England that I expected.
