From a 44cl can into a pint glass
APPEARANCE: Pours a two finger, medium looking, creamy, frothy white head with great retention. Cloudy gamboge orange with no carbonation evident. Head slowly fades to a frothy cap and leaves piles of lacing on the glass. Faint wisp remains leaving lots of nice, foamy lacing on the glass as it empties.
SMELL: Lots of tropical fruits, with plenty of mango, pineapple, and lots of passionfruit on the nose. Really fruity and aromatic. Lovely.
TASTE: Fruity start with tropical notes, pineapple, passion fruit and some caramel sweetness as well. Flavorful. Solid finish of tropical fruit, passion fruit, mango flavors, with some caramel and honeydew sweetness on the palate. No real bitterness. Lovely fruity NEIPA flavor profile.
PALATE: Medium body and medium carbonation. Creamy enough for the style, goes down fine and finishes a touch mouth-coating.
OVERALL: This is great. Perhaps the best NEIPA these guys have made. The tropical fruit flavor is all about mango and passion fruit, which is right up my alley, and the look and feel work really well too. Very aromatic and enticing as well. Definitely worth checking out if you’re a fan of the style. Highly recommend drinking in mass quantities. Cheers!
