October 2013: 330 ml bottle. ABV is 5.4%. Beautiful copper to amber colour, moderate off-white head. Aroma first disappointing, of dust, caramel and stale jam, gets better as the beer warms up a little. The flavour is much better, malts, caramel (but not too sweet), burnt breadcrumbs, dark fruits, bitter hops in the finish. Quite enjoyable.

Pours deep amber, perfectly clear, thin head that fades quickly. Aroma is malty, mostly caramel . . . no real yeast or hop presence. Flavor is heavy caramel malt, bitterness is quite low. Sweetness is almost cloying, little hop presence. Body is slightly thin, moderate high carbonation, caramel malt lingers. Overall is pleasant but could use a higher hop presence (bitterness/aroma) and perhaps a stronger body.

Caramel amber colour, filtered with moderate carbonation, and topped with 3 fingers of light beige head.
Smells of hints of caramel and Halloween candy, clean plastic, and toasted malts.
Tastes of toffee, caramel, and light toasted malts.
Medium body, with lots of carbonation.
Got at Zurich Airport where I drank it before boarding the plane, June 6th, 2018. Decent brew, glad the Swiss are branching out into craft beer.

A gratefully accepted recommendation at Drinks of the World in Zurich HB train station for something local, quenching but substantial. A real looker in a style that doesn't always inspire me: clear ice tea color with copious bubbles feeding a persistent beige head. Softly bready in the nose, with a bit of orange zest and root beer -- pastry shop more than bakery. Clean caramel flavor with a bit of cherry, light toast, and a late flick of hops for balance rather than bringing it all the way to bitterness. Excellent mouthfeel, creamy and full, then a cleansing finish.
