From a 33cl bottle.

Pours a beautiful, light amber colour. The half-finger, creamy head quickly reduces to a smear despite the visible carbonation. Does however leave some attractive lacing.

Smell is heaps of tropical fruit: guava; lychee; mango.

Flavour is soft and luscious. Brewed with galaxy hops, the aroma and taste is fresh and delicate, full of ripe exotic fruits, with just a hint of pine and very little citrus.

Mouthfeel is smooth. There's a good level of bitterness but again it's nicely balanced so it's very easy to drink. Very little astringency.

An excellent Ozzie pale ale. Bought for 12CHF for a six-pack from the local Coop in Zurich. Decent price, great drinking.

L: Hazy gold, minimal head, opaque but translucent
S: citrus, grassy hops, some malt
T: Hop flavor (grass, pine as well as citrus) without the intense kick of an American IPA. Very, very mellow flavor that starts out intense and quickly dissipates into a nice, palatable, easy to drink pale ale. Really, really outstanding. The rapid way the flavor dissipates is somewhat dissapointing, however, but not going to keep me from buying more.
F: Nice body, good carbonation but not overwhelming, minimal bitter aftertaste common with other PAs/IPAs
O: Truly outstanding beer. Not great for hop heads who are looking to have their palate burned off with hops, but great for those who want the flavor.
