Amber copper color with a thin fluffy beige head with short retention.
Aroma with notes of caramels, dry hay, some citrusy, cinnamon and piney hops.
Flavor with notes of caramels, dry hay, yeast, a bit of pine, cinnamon, perfume and strawberries. Dry aftertaste with a mild bitterness.
Light to medium body with low carbonation.
Forgettable Amber Ale. Dry hay and caramels predominate over muffled hops; it does not represent well an American Amber Ale.

Tasted 23 December 2013, reviewed from notes.
Pours an almost-clear brownish amber. One finger of yellowish off-white head. Okay retention and lacing.
Smell is nice, with grassy herbal hops and a vibrant zing.
Taste is slightly grainy caramel malts, a little bit sweet, but with much more hop bitterness than I've yet encountered in any Mexican beer. In the US, it'd be underhopped, but here, it's big-time hoppy.
Feel is medium-bodied with plenty of zip from the carbonation.
A nice hoppy amber ale. If I were drinking this in the US, I'd call it an unremarkable mildly hoppy amber. But it's a lot better than the vast majority of beers available around here.
