Light brown copper color with a thin beige head with short retention.
Nice aroma with notes of grainy malt, caramel, a bit of homemade coffee, wood and maybe floral hops.
Flavor with notes of vinegar, floral hops, toast with butter, lactic acid, lots of raspberries and biscuit and toasted malts. Dry aftertaste with a low bitterness and a residual acid and toasted malt note.
Light body with appropriate carbonation. No way this has only 7.5% abv.
In the beginning I was under the impression this was contaminated, more vinegar and acidity than expected, unless they have added raspberries... O maybe some foreigner clashed the party and started to dominate and ferment slowly, which made its alcohol content lower than target. That said, the red part of Irish Red Ale was really bold. If it was on purpose, it would have been very interesting.
