Brewed with German malt and hops in the traditional method, Stilly Pils is our idea of a great everyday beer: fresh, foamy and moreish.

Clear gold with a large, fizzy head that leaves nice lacing as it recedes. Grassy hop nose, fresh. Light effervescent malt body with a great crispness. It is very drinkable and refreshing.

Polished gold with brilliant clarity. The spunding technique they use conditioning this beer gives its head good stick and retention time. The lace left behind makes it look like a well dressed Pilsner.
Its aroma is on a clean, refined level. Orange peel, earthy grass clippings and a touch of sulfur. Its malt character is delicately layered - biscuit, bread crust, and lightly sweet cereal.
A satisfying, grassy bitterness takes lead. Fine sandpaper - dry with a pinch of grit. Its malt backbone is thin and fine like a layer of phyllo pastry. Honey and grain are here.
The feel is light and still fleshed out. Tiny, snappy bubbles doe well at accentuating its hop character.
"Moreish" is a perfect way to describe this. The pleasing, dry, moderate bitterness keeps me engaged and wanting more the entire can.
Thank you, Stillwell. Your beer bar will always be my favorite here in Halifax. Your attention to detail in brewing and passion for the craft is something that I'll always support.
