Visited Eindhoven on 01OCT15.... Hit a small pub earlier in the day, without realizing how close this place was to the former. Train leaves when? Pleeeenty of time! Van Moll it is!
The brewpub is on the ground floor of a modern, non-descript building in the center of Eindhoven. Out front were 4-5 long, German style tables and benches. I headed inside, and found a very modern pub, sort of like Boston Beer Works meets Holland. It was a multi-level establishment, with some long tables, couches, and smaller tables fronting the window area. Ahead was a split stairway, with 5-6 steps up to the bar area, and 5-6 down to an area which I didn't explore. There was a lot of modern art, from multi-colored splotches of paint to big-ass fish to a bicycle adorning the top of the staircase. I headed up to the bar area.... The bar was long, on the left side of the room and heading to the rear. There were also many small high tables and chairs.... A local company was having a going-away-party, but I was easily able to snag a bar-stool. Above and behind the bar was a big-ass board with the 12 or so Van Moll biers, about 12 from a guest brewery (in this case, Põhjala from Estonia), and the dozens of bottled brews. Prices were a touch higher than I'd like, but I was on vacation, so it was "What the Fuck!". My tender was quite helpful and friendly (not to mention being quite cute!) and was right there when needed (for my bier needs).
I only had 1 Van Moll brew, an Imperial stout, which was quite good. Also had an Estonian RIS which hit the spot. A funky, modern, industrial yet inviting place. I'd return....

Convenient location that doesn't look impressive from the outside but that is quite nice inside. The food is fairly good and over several visits its possible to try a fairly wide range of the beers they brew in house. Some of which are ordinary but others of which are quite tasty. The prices are reasonable and the service is fairly good so long as they are not full, croweded and busy. Well worth a visit even though the interior is nice but not particularly distinctive.
