A- Very nice super white head that has excellent retention, starting a full finger thick and settling to a thick layer around a half finger in thickness. The color of the beer itself is a yeast clouded yellow with golden/straw hues all over it as well. The carbonation is aggressive and with big bubbles rising quickly to the top of the liquid, while the lacing is modest overall.....some small patches of protein cling before slowly sliding to the abyss.
S- I detect huge citrus fruit (grapefruit/pomello/lemon zest), along with bittering hops, grainy barley and wheat, floral aromas (roses do come to mind), some spicy heat from the ginger root used, and the finish is clean and full of hops again. Nice overall!
T- Ok this is interesting to say the least......initial flavors of citrus flesh, floral notes, and theres an underlying soapiness that seems to take me back to my childhood (soapy bathwater). I could see this being a bold lemonade tasting beer as well.....as time goes on, the flavors meld and get better, with the finish being refreshing and palate cleansing. Still not sure at the same time though.
M/O- Palate scrubbing carbonation allows this to be a reasonably simple beer flavor wise and overall this is a light bodied brew. It's drinkable enough, but I don't think it's a really good social kind of beverage, as it's weird.....nothing wrong with trying though right?! I'd probably pass in the future but would drink it again if offered one......

Are they sure that this isn't mead? Because it is watery, pink, and tastes nothing like beer.
Too yeasty, too fruity, and too light to be enjoyable.
I'm sad to say that I couldn't even finish a whole bottle of it.

330ml bottle, day 4 of the 2016 Craft BeerAdvent calendar - a rose and ginger-flavoured sour beer - also made with 'malted what', apparently. What the what?
This beer pours a hazy, pale golden straw colour, with a teeming tower of puffy, finely foamy, and mildly creamy bone-white head, which leaves some high-flying streaky lace around the glass as it very slowly abates.
It smells of rather pungent rose water (like my Mom's old bathroom), zesty ginger spice, some muddled pale and wheaten cereal malt, a hint of earthy yeastiness, and some plain leafy, weedy, and further floral green hop bitters. The taste is gritty and bready pale malt, some grainy wheatiness, more estery rose petals (bordering on Turkish Delight), white saltine crackers, lemongrass, musty ginger root, and more tame leafy, herbal, and piney verdant hoppiness.
The carbonation is fairly active, if in a plain-Jane frothy manner, the body a so-so medium weight, and mostly smooth, if attar perfume is your idea of a good mouthfeel time. It finishes off-dry, a lingering mixed maltiness tamping down on the rose and ginger essences, to all our good fortune.
Overall, I can't complain that this brewery didn't bring their A game in providing the promised flavours - I mentioned Turkish Delight earlier (which I could really go for right about now), and I stand by that, if in a much less sweeter version than yer typical bulk aisle purchase. Interesting, and yet another reason why this crazy-assed Yuletide mixed pack is worth it.

Golden-bronze with a white head, very thin ring of retention.
Some floral perfume in the aroma, with underlying ginger bread.
Taste is full on ginger, like a Jamaican ginger beer, with a little wheats biscuit.
Light to moderate body is bubbly, with a dry finish.

A found the whole affair a little odd to be honest
Slight pink blush to a golden body with thin white head
Aroma exactly as name suggests
a little too perfumed for me I'm afraid
