Dark prune juice colored beer, with a thin one centimeter head.
Smell is rather typical, but light, for a strong ale.
Taste is a bit alcoholic, but otherwise contains a nice gingery spice and bitterness. Malt and dark fruit come through with a hint of something else... Cardamom? Bitterness reminds me of grape skin.
Carbonation is medium-heavy. This beer could benefit from a bit of aging, in my opinion. Wish it were a touch smoother
