Not much head and lacing, althought I think a lot of that had to do with the server's pour.
Roastiness up front which gives way to cherry. Cherry sweetness at the end of a sip. Meshes well enough, but the underlying porter (which I like a lot) is a session (non-robust) porter. Great for what it is. But doesn't quite go with cherry, since it is already somewhat malty. Doesn't lower the taste so much as the drinkability.
Nice. Kudos for experimenting.
Now, their coffee porter. That's an excellent match.
