You can rest your weary head right on this can. While you're at it, sniff the hints of pineapple and mango. And if you're so inclined, sip the tropical hop party. And repeat in due time.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of grapefruit, pineapple. Taste is the same as the aroma, some mango as well. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is an enjoyable beer.

Can pour into a tulip glass.
Murky gold appearance with decent head and retention. Nose is citrus fruit, grapefruit, orange, pineapple. Taste follows the nose. Mouthfeel is creamy and moderately carbonated.

Notes via stream of consciousness: Nice looking label artwork. The text suggests an aroma of pineapple and mango and a "tropical hop party" in the flavor. It's poured a hazy golden body beneath a finger's width of white foam. The head has dropped a bit but it seems like it'll hold on further. The aroma does suggest pineapple and mango but they're both mild. Well, I shouldn't say mild, but they're not that bright given that this is an IPA. There's some sweetish malt there as well, some apricot, peach, and orange, and a pleasant bit of soft pine. On to the taste... it pretty much follows with a wider bit of everything. I was expecting the malt to be straightforward brewer's 2-row but there's more to it than that. It's bready and wheaty. I'm assuming there's wheat for the haze which normally suggests there will be oats as well but I'm not finding them. What I'm getting is more like crusty bread. The hops also have a bit more character. In addition to the mango, pineapple, apricot, peach, and orange I'm finding some sweet berries and a hint of lemon-lime. A median to moderate bitterness balances it nicely, and it finishes dry with some residual citrus and berries and some earth and pine that lingers a bit longer. In the mouth it's medium to medium-light in body and gently crisp. A little bit to my surprise the head held up very well and it's left some nice lacing about the glass. This isn't even close to the hoppier and juicer hazy IPAs out there but it's certainly up there with what's coming out of the larger craft breweries. It's just slightly unique and that keeps it interesting but it's also satiating and refreshing.

Straight from the can at a baseball game. Initial impression is pink grapefruit, mango, and pineapple. Mouthfeel is not exactly soft, but it is quite smooth. Finish fades to a slight sweetness. Overall, a pretty decent beer for ballpark fare. Not sure I'd buy a bunch for home consumption, but it certainly beats what you usually find at a baseball game.
