This double IPA is extra big, extra hoppy and still goes down smooth as a white whale. Notes of orange, pineapple, and pine.

64 oz growler was poured into a snifter.
Appearance: A one finger head was poured that reduced to a thin layer. It is copper orange color with great clarity and vision of bubbles coming up through the glass. Spotty lacing down the glass as the beer was drank.
Smell: Citrus, lemon, grassy, herbal, and resiny pine followed by caramel and toasted malts. Some warm alcohol in there too.
Taste: Definitely a hop forward DIPA with malt bill, alcohol, and mild lingering bitterness in the rear.
Mouthfeel: Smooth, mild bitterness, medium to full bodied, medium carbonation, and light boozy alcohol.

On tap at The Old Toad in Rochester, NY.
Pours a clear burnt orange color, with a half inch head, and a good amount of lacing.
This smells really typically of delicious Amarillo hops, spicey pine and candied orange citrus, awesome.
This is fairly resinous and bitter, in a good way, doesn't get too, too fruity like a lot of IPAs can be (not that I don't enjoy that, though). The bitterness lingers for a while, with some candied lemon and candied orange flavors. There's no real malt character, other than some candied sweetness mentioned above. Tons of pine.
This is medium bodied, with a slick, slightly creamy mouthfeel, and a moderate level of carbonation. Very drinkable.
A most excellent IPA from Finback.

Eh- this ones ok. Not too hoppy but not super malty either. Creamy medium bodied feel with not so much bitterness or carbonation. I wouldn't get it again.

Sampled at SAVOR 2015. Awesome hops balanced by some sweet malt backbone. A little hot.
