L - awesome color. Looks like Tree House Green. Lightly murky straight OJ haze. It's so goddamn yellow. And orange!
S - oh man, all the citrus in the world. Nectarine, tangerine, orange, satsuma, with a hint of OJ pulp in the finish.
T - bright juicy orange up front. Orange juice, orangina, this is hilarious how much orange there is! Then it settles down halfway through and other flavors come crawling out of the woodwork. Tropics, earth, grass. A spicy, screwdriver-esque tanginess on the finish. Orange tang? Woof.
F - prickly and lively. Not a ton of carbonation, but enough that it's bouncy and buoyant. Has character.
O - I enjoyed this beer a lot. It's light and simple and attacks one flavor style relentlessly: orange.

Not understanding the relatively low score. This pale ale is incredible. The nose explodes and fills the room after an aggrssive pour from a 3 day old crowler. Thick, creamy head that leave a delicate lace. Taste is tropical & earthy with subtle hints of lemon with a smoothe, soft mouth feel. I need to get back and grab another couple of crowlers before this one's gone. Another home run from Finback!

Got it on tap at City Beer Hall in Albany on 3/5/16 - just before the Warren Haynes show at the Egg.
A: Yellowish-tan milkshake with a nitro-like whitish head on top. Thick lace coats the glass.
S: Good, strong nose of hops - citrus and pine are both evident.
T: Green, raw hops of pine, grass and even onion. Heat felt in belly, which is surprising given the low ABV. I had a sore throat earlier in the week, and the fresh, metallic-tasting hops seem to have attached themselves to that portion of the back of the mouth/throat area where the doctor noted a strep-like "cobblestoning" effect. Lingering raw hops destroy the palate. Ordering this beer first wasn't a good idea.
M: Surprisingly a bit thin in feel for the the style. Maybe OK for a Session IPA, I suppose.
O: Too raw. Hops don't really gel with the rest of the beer at all. Ultimately I gave up after drinking about 4/5ths of the pint.

On tap into snifter, pours a cloudy yellow with a thin cap of head that recedes to a ring. Citrus lemony aroma. Faint citrus flavor...light on the palate.
