Pours a murky gold color. Smells like orange, coffee, and some dankness. Taste follows the smell. The coffee works well with the hops. Smooth mouthfeel typical of this style of IPAs. Overall, a nice IPA that I would drink again.

This is one of the worst looking beers I've had. It smells decent. Some peach aroma. Get a burst of chocolate covered oranges that's followed with a grassiness that is slightly acrid. The coffee is quite subtle and I wish there was more used to cover up that finish. It's very much an IPA with a hint of coffee than a coffee IPA.

pours a gorgeous murky yellow, big uneven foamy head that lasts a good amount of time. smell is a little muted, but its citrus and tropical fruits with the slightest roasty scent on the backend. taste is bigger than smell: big tropical peach and orange juice, with a definite roasted coffee flavor on the end of the taste. it is actually very good... until it warms up. then the coffee flavor takes over too much and the taste actually degrades im my opinion. feel was good, but could have been a little fuzzier with that thick of a mouthfeel. that being said, this is a very good beer, the underlying IPA is extremely well made. definitely going to check Finback out next time i'm in Queens, I hope they make a beer like this but without the coffee!

Can shared by Lunch. Thanks Paul.
Murky orange body with a small white collar. Aromas of malt, coffee, tropical fruit. While this works, I don't see this marriage of coffee and hops to be particularly endearing. These flavors are often great in beer, just not in harmony. Well executed. Best in small doses.

Turbid, golden yellow color. Coffee forward. Ends with citrus zest. Orange, grapefruit pith. Really nice integration, although the underlying ipa base is fantastic. Not bad.
